Commissions
You would specify commission information for specific inventory item types in the ‘Commissions’ tab (Fig. 12). Remember, if you need to add a new commission structure, go to File > Setup > Commission Structure from the main application menu as shown on the Commission Structure Setup section earlier in this chapter.
First, specify the item types that you are going to pay commissions on by setting the proper checkboxes to checked on the ‘Commissionable’ group box. Then, select a product type from the grid below and assign a commission structure to it on the ‘Structure’ drop-down box.
NOTE: The commission structure applied to the “Spectacle” product type is enabled by the ‘Lens’ checkbox on the ‘Commissionable’ group box. The one applied to the “Other” product type is enabled by the ‘Lens Treatments’, ‘Other’ and ‘Services’ checkboxes for the corresponding inventories.
