The Contact Lens Manufacturer/Lens screen allows you to link together manufacturers and the different contact lens lines that they produce. Go to File > Setup > Contact Lens Manufacturer/Lens from the main menu to access this screen.

To add a manufacturer, click the Add button under the left grid and enter the ‘Manufacturer’ name on the last line of the left data grid. To delete a manufacturer, click on the appropriate manufacturer record and click the Delete button under the grid.

To add a lens name for a manufacturer, click to highlight the appropriate manufacturer and click the Add button on the upper right hand corner of the screen and enter the ‘Lens Name’ on the right data grid. To delete a lens, select the manufacturer that it belongs to and click to highlight the appropriate lens record. Click Delete on the upper right-hand side of the screen.

Click Save and Close on the main application toolbar when you are finished making changes to this screen.

After setting up your manufacturers/lens name combinations on this screen, you will need to add the contact lens descriptions and pricing to inventory. To view your contact lens inventory list, select File > Inventory > Contact Lens from the main application menu. Refer to the Contact Lens subsection under the Inventory Setup and Maintenance section further down this chapter for additional information.
