Preappointments

You could have certain appointments automatically setup based on the services that you provide. These appointments are initially setup with a status of “Preappoint”. There are three conditions that must be met for a preappointment to be scheduled:

1.   There must be a recall reason associated with the service that you want to preappoint. Recall reasons could be setup from the Recall Reasons screen (File > Setup > Recall Reasons). They can be assigned to services from the Services Listing screen (File > Inventory > Services). See the corresponding sections in Chapter 1 for more information.

2.   An order must be placed containing the service in question. See Chapter 6.

3.   The order must be linked to a physician whose profile on the Physician/Resource Setup screen (File > Setup > Physician/Resource) has the ‘Preappoint’ checkbox checked. See the corresponding section in Chapter 1.
