VSP

This tab allows you to update Eyefinity/VSP related lists such as: lens options, lenses, labs and insurance carriers. You can also click News to read news updates from Eyefinity/VSP or the ‘GO TO Eyefinity’ image to open your default browser and navigate to the Eyefinity website.

To refresh the VSP lens options list, click Refresh Lens Options List  to open the VSP Lens Options Import screen. If you wanted to import all new VSP lens options, you can click Synchronize All to import all VSP options. Only options that do not already exist in the application are imported. To import some, but not all new VSP lens options, select a lens option category from the box on the top left and click Get Lens Options to view a listing of the latest lens options from VSP. Uncheck the ‘Include’ checkbox for lens options that you do not wish to import. Of those that remain checked, only those that do not already exist in the application will be imported. Click Synchronize to import the selected lens options into inventory. You can see the lens option inventory by going to File > Inventory > Lens Treatments from the main menu. For more information, refer to the Lens Treatment subsection under Inventory Setup and Maintenance further down this chapter.

To refresh the lens, lab and insurance carrier lists, click Refresh Other Lists to open the VSP Download Lists screen and click the appropriate button. Pressing the Delete Lens List button will delete only VSP lenses. The Request Insurance Carrier List will refresh the list of insurance companies available for importing by going to File > Setup > Insurance and clicking the Import from Eyefinity… button (see the Insurance Companies section further down this chapter).
