The Adjustment Screen is used to record adjustments to accounts receivable and deposit over/short for cash reconciliation purposes. These values are used in the calculations of Sales and Payment summary report. Any discrepancies between the actual and calculated amount can be noted here to make the accounts receivables in sync with the actual.
• To add/filter adjustments:
1. Follow the menu item sequence … File | Setup | Adjustments.
2. In the Adjustments Screen choose the location for which you wish to make an adjustment and click the Add Button.
3. Enter the Adjustment date for which adjustments need to be made. Then enter the adjustment amount and the Deposit Over/Short, if any.
4. Enter any notes for the Adjustment.
5. To delete any adjustment highlight the adjustment that you would like to delete and click the Delete Button located below the Add Button.
6. To filter your adjustments to find specific adjustment(s) click the Filter Button.
7. In the Filter Screen define how you would like the results filtered and click the OK Button.
8. If you would like to add another Adjustment go to step 2, otherwise click Save followed by Close from the menu toolbar.
