• To send a VisionWeb Order
9. Either create a new order using Quick Order/Detailed Order or search for an existing order in the system.
10. If using Quick Order, select the appropriate VisionWeb Lab from the Lab drop-down list. Then click the VW Button to send the order.
NOTE: The system will wait for a response from VisionWeb for the time interval setup in the VisionWeb setup. The default is 30 seconds. Once the order is received VisionWeb will return a status report alerting you of any errors if any.
11. If using Detailed Order, click on the Payments Tab. Then select the appropriate VisionWeb Lab from the Lab drop-down list.
12. Click the Send to VisionWeb Lab Button to send the order.
13. If all the required information were filled in correctly, you will receive a message informing you your order were sent successfully. If not, you will receive a message for every required field that needs to be filled out.
14. To check the status of your sent order, click on the Refresh VisionWeb Status Button and you will be updated with information on your order in the VSP/VW status, VW order, VSP/VW status date, and VW Submitted date Fields.
• To sent batch lab orders to VisionWeb.
15. Follow the menu item sequence … File | Batch | Lab Orders.
16. In the Search Section, specify the search criteria, including selecting Spectacle Lens under the Order Type Field to find the Lab Orders you wish to send, and then click the Search Button.
17. Click on the Preview Tab to see all the orders that meet your search criteria.
18. Click on the VisionWeb Button to send your orders.
