This chapter explains how to use the Inventory module to add and modify Frames, Spectacle Lens, Soft Contacts, and Other miscellaneous inventory, as well as adjust your inventory when necessary. My Vision Express automatically updates inventory with the number of items sold. If you add an inventory item to the order, its details including the price are automatically filled in the order section of the screen. Inventory items can also be linked to procedure codes used to bill a patient's insurance. When the Insurance module is used to file an insurance claim for an order it will automatically fill the procedure codes for the item specified in inventory. Also, My Vision Express supports the creation of barcode labels for your entire inventory this way you can just scan your items into inventory with automatic updates to the system.
