Manage Connections Screen lets you switch to different My Vision Express database servers. You may have one client computer that acts as a client to connect to a remote server and sometimes it may act as a server connecting to a local database. For example, if you have a laptop computer that you use as a client at the office connecting to server computer to access data stored on another computer. You also carry this laptop home or to another office to look up data from this office remotely (no network connection). In this case you make the laptop act as a server and restore database from the main computer. Manage Connections Screen is accessible from Tools | Manage Connections menu sequence. It displays the current server configuration. To switch to different server select the desired server and click OK.
• To automatically build the list of My Vision Express database servers that are available or reset the list click Refresh.
• To manually Add or Delete the server click Add/Delete Button respectively.
• To test the currently selected server click Test.
