Custom fields offer you a way to keep track of specific information of your unique practice needs. While My Vision Express already provides fields to record most common practice data, you probably require other information from time to time. Custom fields let you set up and store that unique data. My Vision Express provides up to 50 custom fields for patient records. Custom field names (labels) are set up here. Custom field data is entered under Patient module in Custom Fields tab.
• To add Patient Custom fields:
1. Follow the menu sequence … File | Setup | Patient Custom Fields.
2. Highlight the custom field record and specify the field label name and whether it should display in the patient record.
3. Click the Save then Close from menu toolbar.
