Patient module stores all the information about a patient or customer. You can also add prescriptions, images, create Orders, view past order, calendar appointments, insurance claims, and VSP authorization and claims history.
You can enforce your business rules on patient data collection by setting up the Required fields under the Required Fields Section. E.g. if you want to always capture the birth date you can make birth date a required field and if the user forgets to fill in the birth date it will prompt the user to enter the birth date. Also, if calendar information is shared with the patient module then new patients entered through the calendar module are also available in the patient module.
In the Family Tab you can link patients together this is a quick way of entering patients that share the same address. If any patient in the family updates their address or home phone all the linked patients addresses and home phone also gets automatically updated.
In the VSP Tab the most common Eyefinity-VSP functions can be performed including VSP authorizations, checking eligibility and VSP order status updates.
