My Vision Express Help

Running the Program for The First Time

      Run My Vision Express for the first time:

1.  Double-click on the My Vision Express Icon on your Desktop.  If you do not see My Vision Express Icon on your desktop, click on the Start Button and select Programs | My Vision Express | My Vision Express

2.  A Logon window will display where you need to enter your Location, Username and Password

3.  Enter your location as Insight Software, LLC.

4.  Enter your Username, default is Admin, and press the Tab Key.

5.  Enter your Password, default is password for user Admin.

6.  If you would like the system to remember your location, username and password click Save Password Checkbox.

7.  Click OK.

Number of Users:

For Location license, there is no limit to the number of users allowed in one location to use My Vision Express.  Due to the computer, database access and network speeds; there may be a performance limitation to the number of concurrent users on a network.

Display Settings:

My Vision Express requires your computer’s display resolution to be at least 1024 by 768 pixels to display correctly.

      To verify or change your computer's Display properties:

8.  Click Start Button.

9.  Click Control Panel.

10. Double-click Display.

Click the Settings Tab. If your Screen area shows a value less than 1024 by 768 pixels, move the Screen area slider to the right until you reach the 1024 by 768 pixels setting. Also select the highest Color displayed in the Color palette dropdown that your hardware can support.

Taskbar settings: should be set to auto-hide in order for you to view the complete application screen.

To hide the taskbar:

11. Right-click the Start Button and then click Properties.

12. On the Taskbar Tab, select the Auto-hide the taskbar Checkbox. Click OK.

13. To redisplay the taskbar, point to the area of your screen where the taskbar is located.
