  • Screen Customization is available via the optional customizer. Screen Layouts can now be modified including adding and removing existing fields. Customizer lets you customize Reports, Lab Copies, Receipts, Labels and Screen Layouts. Accessible under File>Setup>Customizer menu option. Report customizer is now called Customizer since it now includes customization of screen layouts, receipts, lab copies and reports

  • Included six customized reports Patient Order Summary, Aged Receivables Patient, Aged Receivables Insurance, Orders by Item Type Summary, Frame Inventory by Collection, Frame Inventory by Manufacturer and custom Patient File Folder Label for Dymo 30327
  • In the Patient Module, under the Insurance tab added the ability to store unlimited patient insurances including Medical, Vision, Dental. Added the ability to scan front and back of insurance cards and store within the insurance record

  • In Rx Pad added the Medication Quick list option. Selecting a medication from Quick list automatically populates the Rx configuration from Medications setup saving a lot of time and reduce errors. Medication list and options can be configured under File>Setup>Medications menu option

Exams

  • Added the Coder functionality to suggest correct exam level to bill. Coder button activates the coding calculation and specifies the correct exam level to code based on the elements specified in the exam record

  • Added Eyemaginations interface. This interface lets you launch custom Eyemaginations videos and record it to the exam record. Custom playlist in Eyemagination is created based on patient exam diagnosis codes and procedure codes. Once the patient completes this education, exam record is updated to reflect the education provided

  • Added the ability to capture Low Vision exam information. Low Vision tab questions and answers are fully customizable. Questions and possible answers can be setup under File>Set>Exam>Low Vision Questions menu option. Low Vision items directly links to items in Other Inventory under the category ‘Low Vision’. Any items added under that category will be available under the Device section

  • Added the ability to link stamps to procedure and diagnosis codes so they are automatically filled in when the corresponding stamp is used. A maximum of three procedure and diagnosis codes can be linked to each stamp. Accessible under Under File>Setup>Stamps menu option

  • Added Custom Fields Tab that lets you capture other fields. Custom fields can be customized under File>Setup>Exam>Custom Fields menu option. You can also add custom fields in other screens using the optional Customizer module

  • Under the Glance Tab, added the ability to customize ‘Glance’ sheet with custom letters. Now you can associate a Letter of type Exam to an exam template or exam record. This lets you have different Glance letter for each type of exam. If a letter is specified at the Template level, it will be copied to exam records that were created using that template. You can always change the default Glance Letter by clicking the ‘Glance Letter’ button

  • Under the Glance Tab, added buttons to access all other Exam tabs

  • Under the Assessment Tab, Addendum(s) can now be added to the Exam record. You can add unlimited Addendum to exams with any status, and will not be affected if the exam is locked. Previous Addendums cannot be modified

  • Under the Refractive Tab, added button to view the patient’s keratometry history.

  • Under the Patient Tab and Assessment Tab, added the Checked In/Checked Out buttons to accurately capture time spent in exam

  • Added Quickbooks enhancements – Day sheet deposits can be now transferred to Quickbooks

  • VSP External Authorization can now be retrieved into My Vision Express and used as if the authorization was gotten from within My Vision Express. Under the Patient - VSP tab, a new Existing Authorization button has been added that lets the user specify the external authorization number and store the information in My Vision Express. This authorization is available for use in My Vision Express to place orders and claims

  • Partial phone search – now you can search for patients by partial phone number. It will find patients whose number contains the specified phone number

Enhancements

  • Added Automatic Export for 4PatientCare integration under Tools/Settings section. 4PatientCares allows the ability to automate appointment section, recall reminders, patient and order notification list generation.

  • Added Vision Web interface. This interface lets you send orders directly to the lab from within My Vision Express. Lab must work with VisionWeb and your account must be setup in order to use this feature. You can send lab orders to VisionWeb in single mode or in batch mode.

  • Ability to Import Frames from excel file from the Frame Inventory section

  • Added the ability to create “Report Groups”. “Report Groups” lets you assign list of reports to a group. Groups are user defined and can be setup for an individual or position. In order to use the reports the user must have proper security rights. Report groups makes it easy for you to group reports that you commonly use in one place

  • Added Audit report that shows Payments, Charges, and Time clock modifications of an employee

  • Added “History Report” that lists a record of all the patient, orders, insurance, and reports that were accessed for a specified date range.
