If your claims are not being picked up by Gateway EDI (or any
other insurance clearinghouse) after upgrading to the latest
build, please note that the claims file (claims.txt or
ansi837.txt) is not being saved on the root (c:\) directory.
Instead, it is being saved on the user's temporary folder. To
work around this issue, save the claims file on the root (c:\)
directory once it is genearted and opened in Notepad.

can take advantage of the many new features and enhancements on this
release.

version contains fixes to many problems, including most of those
reported since March 13, 2009 when our last build was published.
Accordingly, we will not be responsible for correcting errors in
older versions for more than sixty days after the new version has been
released. Please make sure you upgrade your system as soon as
possible!

Before you begin:
Backup your database. My Vision Express is not responsible for any
data loss.

Please Read the Release Notes detailing all the changes made to the version that you
currently have. Make sure you agree with all the changes before
proceeding.

To upgrade to this
version, you must be running Version 7.00 or higher. If
you are running a previous version, you must upgrade to version 7.00
first. Please download and install version 7.00 from the link below.

Important considerations:

Never
rollback to a previous version as this may cause data corruption
To begin the Upgrade:

Restart your computer.
-
Close My Vision
Express and any other programs that may be running in the background.

Shut down/Disable all
FIREWALL and ANTI-VIRUS utilities on your system.

Click and click
on the Save option. Select a location on your computer hard drive to save the update application file (Approximately 12 MB).

Double-click the
downloaded file (update.exe) and follow the instructions on the screen.

Repeat steps 1-6
for each client computer
